Buzzing soft plastic baits over grass flats and lily pads has been a popular and effective way to catch bass lately.
We designed our Buzz’N Gator to be Texas-rigged with a 5/0 or 6/0 Gamakatsu EWG Superline hook. We also made the bait heavier than the competition making it easier to throw long distances. Cast the Gator out there and quickly reel it back to the boat. The legs of the Buzz’N Gator make quite a disturbance in the water and throw a 3″ roostertail up behind it. We recommend using 50 lb. Power Pro braided line to give you a better hookset and help you drag the fish out of the thick cover.
