The Shimano Stradic Ci4+ FB fishing reels have been re-vamped in 2016 to bring you a lighter spinning reel that also has the added technology of Coreprotect, the new Magnum-lite Rotor design & Hagane Gearing.
Coreprotect is a protective water repellent coating that is placed over the roller clutch and the line roller to prevent water entering these key areas. The Hagane gearing is a cold forged design that has been introduced to offer anglers an even smoother, stronger & more durable gear system than anything else available on the market.
Through the use of the Magnum-lite rotor, the Shimano Stradic Ci4+ FB reels have now been made even lighter and by moving the oscillating system and worm drive closer to the centre of the reel it fees lighter as well. The Shimano Stradic Ci4+ 3000HGFB weighs just 190 grams!
This Shimano Stradic Ci4+ 3000HGFB reel also packs a 9kg max drag capacity, 6+1 bearings and a 6.0:1 gear ratio to help you pull in some of your favorite Australian saltwater species such as your Bream, Whiting, Flathead etc.
