A crumble supplement containing Paylean® designed to be mixed with Sunglo® complete show feeds.

  • Includes high levels of protein and lysine, ensuring maximum effect on performance.

Important Management Tips:

  • Always provide access to fresh, clean water.
  • Use extra care when handling, loading and transporting pigs that have been fed Paylean.® It is recommended to remove Sunglo® ExplodeTM from the feed 12 hours before transporting.
  • Check weight gains at set time intervals and adjust daily feeding rate as needed until target weight is reached.
  • Always transition slowly from one ration to another to help avoid digestive upset.

How To Feed Sunglo® ExplodeTM:

 

Sunglo® ExplodeTM contains Paylean®, an ingredient for increased rate of weight gain, improved feed efficiency and increased carcass leanness in finishing swine, weighing not less than 150 lb., fed a complete ration containing at least 16% crude protein for the last 45 to 90 lb. of gain prior to slaughter. Feed according to the chart below depending on your desired outcome.

 

1. DETERMINE LEVEL OF EXPLODETM TO FEED

To support average daily gain                                    4.5 g.

To support gain and carcass (muscle)                       9.0 g.

 

2. DETERMINE LENGTH OF TIME TO FEED EXPLODETM

To support growth rate                                              4.5 g. for 3-4 weeks

To support growth rate and muscle                          9.0 g.

For pigs being limit fed                                             9.0 g. for 2-3 weeks

For pigs that need maximum growth feed                4.5 g. for 3 weeks

 

3. DETERMINE HOW MUCH SUNGLO® EXPLODETM TO FEED / PIG / DAY

Hand feeding      5.5 lb. of show feed with 0.5 lb. of ExplodeTM – 9 g. Paylean®

Free choice         Mix 4.5 lb. of ExplodeTM with 50 lb. of show feed and place in self feeder (see below)

If feeding different amounts of feed or different levels (refer below).

 

HAND FEEDING METHOD EXPLODETM LEVEL 4.5 g.

Explode + Show Feed Total Intake

0.25 lb. (4 oz.) + 5.75 lb. = 6.0 lb.

 

HAND FEEDING METHOD EXPLODETM LEVEL 9.0 g.

Explode + Show Feed Total Intake

0.25 lb. (4 oz.) + 2.75 lb. = 3.0 lb.

0.50 lb. (8 oz.) + 5.50 lb. = 6.0 lb.
