W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company began in 1889.  Brothers William, John, Jean, and Andrew Case began making knives and selling them on the New York wagon trail.  Today the company is located in Pennsylvania and all Case products are made in America.  Another family owned and world-renowned company, Zippo, now owns the Case Company.
