Purina isn’t a newcomer to research. It’s been part of their DNA since 1926. In fact, every Purina product you can buy was tested at our Animal Nutrition Center. To date, our research teams have analyzed over 1,500 nutrient combinations. Their 1,200-acre facility is an expansive working farm with separate units devoted to Equine, Dairy, Swine, Cattle and Companion Animal research. Caring for over 1,000 animals in every stage of development, their researchers seek vital new data in areas like digestive physiology, animal metabolism, and growth and development. Those insights drive product development and rigorous testing of new diet formulations, innovative milk replacers, and nutritional programs.
